With over a decade of experience, we use proven techniques to minimise your animal's stress and maximise the tenderness of your meat.
Animals are dispatched humanely in their own environment with the upmost care then delivered to your preferred homekill butcher.
We want to keep your animal/s as relaxed as possible so we have included a few tips below to help you prepare them for the day.
Please note the prices below EXCLUDE offal removal but INCLUDE GST.

BEEF

Please keep your animal with others.
Make sure the animal is close to a gateway for winching.
If not in a yard, a small confined area with gate access is appreciated.
SHEEP
From $35ea
Please ensure animals to be dispatched are penned prior to arrival.
Ewes and Rams incur an additional fee, slaughterman to advise on site.
1x sheep = $50
2x sheep = $80
3x sheep = $90
4+ sheep = $35 each
PIGS
From $60ea
Pigs must be penned or confined in a corner or gateway.
Pigs are priced depending on size and colour.
Please note that while we do our best to remove as much hair as possible, during the scolding process, pigs with coloured hair may have more visible hair in some parts. White haired pigs are preferred for retail meat for this reason. Black pigs will be skinned only. We appreciate your understanding.
DEER, GOATS & OTHERS

We will also offer our services for deer, goats, alpaca, llamas and more on request.
ABOUT US
Terry and Bernie Paton
Terry was born and bred in Helensville. He was brought up in a self-sufficient family and took up shooting at a young age. Game hunting is a favourite past-time for Terry and led him to become involved with Helensville Fish and Game. 30 years on, Terry is now a master-hunter and highly experienced slaughterman with an extensive client base across Rodney and West Auckland.
Bernie was born in the Coromandel and had a similar upbringing to Terry. Her family were keen on providing for themselves. Bernie loves the outdoors and has 25 years experience in the food industry. This can come in handy with clients who are wanting to try nose-to-tail eating (eating as much of the animal as possible, reducing waste).
